Sarà la sua “voce” a raccontarci i sacrifici e la perseveranza che lo hanno portato a vincere con i club e l’Albiceleste, la caparbietà di rialzarsi dopo ogni sconfitta grazie agli affetti di chi lo ha sostenuto lungo questi anni. L’importanza di sua moglie, dei suoi figli e degli amici dentro e fuori dal campo.

It’s the story of Batistuta’s life and whole career. Gabriel himself will accompany the viewer along the main theme, permeated with memories and anecdotes never revealed before, in order to discover even more deeply the characters of his person, of the man hidden behind a memorable number 9. It will be his “voice” to tell us, finally, the sacrifices and the perseverance that led him to win with the clubs and the Albiceleste, the stubbornness to rise again after every defeat thanks to the affection of his supporters. The importance of his wife, his children and friends.

Pablo Benedetti (Pescia, 1977) Conseguito il diploma con specializzazione in Regia, presso la “London Film School” esordisce nel 2003 con il suo primo documentario su Linday Kemp, poi “BlueMist” nel 2005 e fonda la 011Films. Nel 2008 il primo lungometraggio “Corazones de Mujer”, selezionato al Festival di Berlino nel 2008, un altro lungometraggio con Lucia Bosè “One More Time -Alfonsina y el Mar” e il thriller “Anja – real love girl”.

He achieved a diploma in film-making at the London Film School, he debuted in 2003 with his first documentary on Linday Kemp, then “BlueMist” in 2005, and founded the 011Films. In 2008 the first feature film “Corazones de Mujer”, selected at the Berlin Film Festival in 2008, followed by a new feature film with Lucia Bosè “One More Time – Alfonsina y el Mar”, then the thriller “Anja – real love girl”.
