Jack ha sempre desiderato un fratello maschio con cui giocare e quando nasce Gio i suoi genitori gli raccontano che suo fratello è un bambino “speciale”. Da quel momento, nel suo immaginario, Gio diventa un supereroe, come un personaggio dei fumetti. Con il tempo Jack scopre che in realtà il fratellino ha la sindrome di Down e per lui diventa un segreto da non svelare. Quando il ragazzo arriva al liceo e si innamora di Arianna, decide di nascondere a lei e ai nuovi amici l’esistenza di Gio.

Jack always wanted a little brother, and when Gio is born, as his parents told him that his little brother is “special”. In his mind, Jack believes that little Gio is a superhero with amazing powers. As he grows up, however, he realizes that his brother actually has Down syndrome, a condition that Jack decides to keep secret in high school. When the truth comes out, Jack learns that his brother’s energy, vitality, and unique perspective can indeed change the world—just like a superhero. Together with his best friend and ex-colleague Luciano. They just need a reliable partner and Luigi persuades his shadowy colleague Alvise. But Crime is not for everyone and the greed of money of each of them will turn an easy task into a dangerous game.

Stefano Cipani ha diretto numerosi cortometraggi e video musicali, e svolto differenti mansioni nella produzione di film a soggetto. Conseguita la laurea, si è trasferito a Los Angeles per un master in cinema alla New York Film Academy ed ha diretto i corti “Napoleon’s Charm” e “While God Is Watching Us”. Ha collaborato con case di produzione statunitensi e con MTV Italia, ha diretto “Symmetry” con Isabella Ferrari e ha collaborato con Dante Ferretti, Ennio Morricone e Vittorio Sodano. “Mio fratello rincorre i dinosauri” è la sua opera prima.

Stefano Cipani has directed several short films and musical videos, and carried out different tasks in the production of film plots. Once graduted, he moved to Los Angeles to attend a Master in cinema at New York Film Academy. He has directed the short-films “Napoleon’s Charm” and “While God Is Watching Us”. He has collaborated with US prodution companies as well as MTV Italia. He has also directed “Symmetry” (2014) starring Isabella Ferrari, and worked together with Dante Ferretti, Ennio Morricone and Vittorio Sodano. “My Brother Chases Dinosaurs” is his first feature film.
