Alma, Jean e Sebastiano, si ritrovano scaraventati da Parigi, città in cui vivono nel sicuro ambiente altoborghese della madre, nelle braccia di Carlo, padre italiano assente, anticonformista e incapace di badare a se stesso. Durante le vacanze di Natale al mare con Carlo e la sua collaboratrice Benedetta, i nodi delle tensioni di famiglia vengono al pettine. Nonostante le sfide quotidiane la piccola Alma continua a credere che un giorno la sua famiglia potrà tornare unita.

Alma, Jean and Sebastiano, sons of divorced parents, live in Paris in the bourgeois and strange world of their mum. They arrive in Rome to stay with Carlo, their absent italian father who is a nonconforming man, not capable to take care of himself. During christmas holidays spent on the beach with Carlo and her collague Benedetta, all family tensions arise. Nonetheless, Alma believes that one day her family will be united again.

Ginevra Elkann (Londra, 1979), è presidentessa di Asmara Films, di Good Films e della Pinacoteca Giovanni & Marella Agnelli a Torino. Ha conseguito un Master in Regia Cinematografica alla London Film School. Il suo cortometraggio “Vado a Messa” è presentato alla 62ª Mostra internazionale d’arte cinematografica di Venezia.

Ginevra Elkann (Londra, 1979), she is president of Asmara Films and Good Films, production company and world sales. She is the president of Giovanni & Marella Agnelli Art Gallery in Turin. She obtained a Master degree in directing at London Film School. Her short movie “Vado a messa” (I go to the mass) was presented to 62nd Venice film festival.
